Position Summary:

The Automation & Integration Engineer/Information Security Officer will support the development of intelligent automation and system integrations across the organization. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational programming experience—especially in Python—and a strong interest in artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and connecting systems to improve care delivery and operations.

The engineer will work closely with Informatics, IT, and operational teams to implement AI-powered tools, automate routine processes, and ensure seamless data exchange between systems. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education

            Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Experience

  1. 0–2 years of experience in software development, automation, or system integration (internships/projects acceptable).
  2. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
  3. Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying.
  4. Familiarity with healthcare systems or interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
  5. Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools (e.g., prompt engineering, NLP basics, or model APIs).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
