Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Quality Informatics Analyst to join the Childrens Health Service Line leadership team. This role is responsible for supporting quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives through advanced data management, analytics, reporting, and visualization

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred in Informatics, Health Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Quality Analyst, Healthcare Analytics, or Informatics role utilizing Business Intelligence reporting tools and data visualization platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, and analysis of large datasets

Preferred

  • Masters degree preferred in Informatics, Health Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience with Tableau and/or other Business Intelligence and visualization tools

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time
  • Day Shift 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of complex clinical and operational data to support strategic and operational decision-making across the Children s Health
  • Leverage Business Intelligence tools, reporting platforms, and advanced Excel capabilities to develop meaningful dashboards, reports, and performance insights that drive improvements in quality outcomes and patient care
  • Serve as a key liaison between quality leadership, information systems, Decision Support, Epic reporting teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate, actionable, and timely reporting
  • Extract, integrate, analyze, and interpret clinical and operational data from multiple sources to support quality and safety initiatives
  • Translate quality and patient safety reporting needs into actionable reporting requests in collaboration with Epic and Decision Support teams
