Job description

Health First is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon (MD/DO) to join our growing orthopedic and spine team in Brevard County, Florida. We welcome experienced surgeons and graduating fellows looking to build a thriving spine practice supported by advanced technology, strong clinical resources, and a rapidly growing patient population.

Practice Highlights
  • Dedicated Orthopedic Spine practice with a strong referral network

  • New Medical Office Building with modern clinical space and equipment

  • In-office X-ray capabilities

  • Excellent APP support

  • Average clinic volume of approximately 18 patients per day

  • Surgical volume ranging from 2–6 cases daily depending on complexity

  • Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The position will initially focus on clinic growth and practice development before transitioning to:

  • 3 days in the operating room

  • 2 days in clinic

Advanced Surgical Technology

Perform procedures utilizing the Globus ExcelsiusGPS® Navigation System, providing advanced navigation and precision for complex spine procedures.

Common Procedures
  • Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF)

  • Cervical Disc Replacement

  • Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Procedures

  • Kyphoplasty

  • Lumbar Posterior Fusion

  • SI Joint Fusion

Qualifications
  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

  • Fellowship training in Spine Surgery preferred

  • Experienced surgeons encouraged to apply

  • New graduates and fellows welcome
