• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized therapy plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to effectively treat clients.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on interpersonal dynamics and growth.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions, ensuring compliance with best practices in the mental health field.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care and coordinate the appropriate level of services.

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care. You will work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be crucial in developing trusting relationships, providing them with the support they need to navigate their challenges effectively.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling.
• Experience working with underserved populations and contributing to health equity in mental health care.

The salary range for this role is competitive, at USD 70,000 to 90,000 yearly, depending on experience and caseload.
