• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals, consistently monitor progress, and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions to comply with ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Utilize teletherapy technology to facilitate remote sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients with transportation or mobility challenges.
• Engage in regular peer consultations and supervision meetings to enhance therapeutic techniques and share insights with colleagues.

As a counselor at BWL Mental Health Center, you will work with a varied client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in guiding clients through their struggles and helping them develop coping mechanisms and resilience.

• A current and valid license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), or Psychologist.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to clients' life experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle a diverse caseload.

• Previous experience in a clinical or private practice setting, providing therapy to a broad spectrum of age groups and backgrounds.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools will be advantageous.
• Active involvement in community outreach or support programs that advocate for mental health awareness.

• A competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
