Job description

Job Title: Healthcare Solutions Consultant - Hospital Systems
Location: Kansas City, MO / Kansas
Salary Range: $70k - $80k base
OTE: $140k - $160k
NO CAP ON COMMISSION

Job summary: The Healthcare Solutions Consultant - Hospitals/Major Networks is responsible for supporting ECC's hospital and large health system customers by designing, presenting, and implementing integrated healthcare communication and safety solutions. This role applies technical and workflow expertise to complex clinical environments, ensuring solutions align with patient safety, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.

The consultant partners closely with healthcare sales representatives, clinical specialists, and technical teams to support long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder decision processes, and enterprise-level implementations. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role helps healthcare organizations modernize clinical communication, safety, and engagement platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop customized healthcare solutions aligned to hospital and health system clinical workflows, infrastructure, and regulatory considerations
  • Support sales teams through discovery, solution design, and proposal development for complex healthcare opportunities
  • Conduct solution demonstrations and presentations for clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders
  • Serve as a technical and workflow advisor to healthcare customers, providing guidance on best practices, integration strategies, and adoption planning
  • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions by coordinating with internal implementation and service teams
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively manage technical or solution-related challenges
  • Stay current on healthcare technology trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive offerings impacting acute care environments
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback on product enhancements, clinical needs, and market requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 2+ years' experience in related field
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Consultant or in a technical sales support role, preferably within healthcare and complex enterprise environments
  • Strong ability to communicate technical and workflow concepts to clinical, technical, and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into scalable solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client projects simultaneously
