Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Set up and operate cold heading machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cold Headerman or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cold heading machinery and metal forming processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and anything over requires help and/or handling equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand for periods of time, walk and reach with hands and arms.
