Director of Personal Training

19 Anytime Fitness Locations | Multi-Unit Leadership Role

Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of Personal Training to lead, scale, and optimize personal training performance across 19 Anytime Fitness locations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for revenue growth, trainer development, systems execution, and culture building.

This role is ideal for a proven multi-club PT leader who thrives on metrics, coaching leaders, and building repeatable systems that drive consistent results.


Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Performance
  • Own personal training revenue, penetration, and retention across all 19 locations

  • Establish and execute PT sales systems, including consultations, assessments, closes, and onboarding

  • Track and improve KPIs such as:

    • PT attach rate at POS

    • Sessions per member

    • Trainer utilization

    • Monthly recurring PT revenue

    • PT retention & attrition

  • Identify under performing clubs and implement targeted improvement plans 

Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing personal trainers

  • Coach and mentor Club Managers and Head Trainers on PT leadership

  • Build a trainer career pathway (Level 1 → Senior → Lead → Head Trainer)

  • Drive accountability through weekly scorecards, reviews, and coaching cadence

Systems & Process
  • Standardize PT delivery across all locations (programming, assessments, client experience)

  • Ensure consistent execution of:

    • Fitness consultations

    • Goal reviews

    • Re-ups and long-term commitments

    • Client success tracking

  • Collaborate with operations leadership to align staffing, scheduling, and payroll efficiency

Culture & Client Experience
  • Build a high-energy, professional, results-driven PT culture

  • Ensure trainers deliver an exceptional and consistent member experience

  • Reinforce brand standards, professionalism, and community engagement


Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in personal training leadership, preferably multi-unit

  • Proven track record of growing PT revenue and penetration

  • Experience leading and developing managers and trainers

  • Strong understanding of sales, coaching, and performance metrics

  • Highly organized, data-driven, and systems-oriented

  • Comfortable traveling between locations as needed

  • Must be able to travel. Company vehicle provided
