Konami Gaming is looking for a Systems Training Specialist II to join our team!

What you'll be doing:
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid training for customers and employees utilizing adult learning principles and effective instructional techniques.
  • Conduct training on new features, enhancements, upgrades, and related Konami products.
  • Serve as Lead Trainer for assigned projects by coordinating training activities and ensuring successful delivery of customer training objectives.
  • Partner with Project Management and Systems Implementation teams to support customer training during installations, conversions, upgrades, and other project activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training content and delivery with customer objectives, operational requirements, and project expectations.
  • Support customer adoption of new functionality through release-readiness activities, feature demonstrations, delta training, and education on system best practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage training engagements, including scheduling, logistics, travel arrangements, equipment readiness, and communication with customer stakeholders.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of SYNKROS functionality, features, and supported workflows.
  • Maintain working knowledge of casino operations and how SYNKROS supports operational business processes.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of ancillary Konami products and integrated solutions to support customer and internal training requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials, curriculum, job aids, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the development and delivery of internal enablement programs, certification initiatives, and product readiness activities.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training efforts for new team members.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of training databases, training environments, and related peripherals.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure training environments and materials accurately reflect current system functionality.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training-readiness activities for new products, features, and releases.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support, Implementation, and other internal teams to facilitate resolution of training-related questions and support customer readiness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Support is open 24/7, 365 days a week. In this role you must be flexible to work any day of the year, including holidays. Travel is required could be as high as 50-75%, or as business requires.

Las Vegas, Nevada residents ONLY. Remote and/or relocation is not available for this role.

Qualifications

What we’ll want you to have:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Training certification preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of three years training and casino operations experience.
  • Previous hands-on and/or working knowledge of Casino Operations in Cage, Slots, Table Games, Marketing, or Player’s Club.
  • Technical aptitude for casino systems and peripherals are also preferred.
  • Candidates must possess the necessary skills to develop and critique training documentation/performance in a professional environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel is required – could be as high at 50 – 75% or as business requires. Employee must be flexible to the travel needs of the business. Must possess a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport, if required for business travel.
Work Environment:
  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting assigned deadlines. Demonstrates high integrity, trust, and strict confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent communication and a positive, respectful, and professional attitude and relationship with clients, employees, peers, co-workers, all levels of management, and all outside organizations conducting business or otherwise interacting with the company. Ability to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.
  • Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices.
  • Position may be required to attend trips to casinos, tradeshows, or as needed. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
