Job description

Aimé Leon Dore is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Retail to lead the growth, performance, and operational scale of its retail business. This role will own revenue results, store operations, and retail infrastructure while partnering closely with the Head of Brand Retail to ensure the ALD customer experience and brand ethos remain consistent and elevated as the brand continues to expand.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for building scalable systems, driving profitable growth, and strengthening retail operations across a growing store portfolio.

Retail Strategy, Growth & Expansion
  • Own retail performance and revenue across all stores and markets
  • Lead retail growth strategy including new store openings and market expansions
  • Develop productivity targets, store economics, and profitability models for each location
  • Drive traffic, conversion, average transaction value, and sales productivity across the fleet
  • Partner with Finance and Planning on forecasts, budgets, and long-term retail planning
Store Operations & Performance Excellence
  • Oversee all retail operations, systems, and execution standards
  • Build scalable operating frameworks for staffing, scheduling, inventory flow, and reporting
  • Implement performance dashboards and KPIs to drive accountability and results
  • Standardize best practices while allowing flexibility for flagship and regional nuance
  • Lead operational improvements that increase efficiency, margin, and customer experience
Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead and develop regional leaders, store leadership, and retail operations teams
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accountability, and execution

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of senior retail leadership experience in premium, lifestyle, or multi-store environments
  • Proven success scaling retail operations and driving profitable growth
  • Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen
  • Experience leading large, multi-location retail teams
  • Ability to build systems in fast-growth environments
  • Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution mindset

Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000
