Job description

Agility’s commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.

About the Role

Agility Robotics is scaling its operations — and the programs that enable that scale need to be led with rigor, depth, and autonomy. As Director, Operations Program Management, you will own two things simultaneously: a team of technical and non-technical program managers working across all of the operations and supply chain domains and a portfolio of high-complexity programs that span the full organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations Program Management & Insights, you will bring the structure, judgment, and leadership presence to operate with minimal oversight. You set the standard for what great program management looks like on this team. This is the right role for someone who leads from the front, develops the people around them, and can drive complex cross-functional programs to outcomes without being told how to get there.

About the Work

Lead and develop a team of dedicated program managers. Set clear expectations, coach toward growth, and hold yourself accountable to building a stronger team over time. Establish and model PM best practices across the team. You are both the standard‑setter and the coach. Own, through your and the team’s efforts, a portfolio of complex programs that require a high degree of structure, judgment, and organizational reach. Act as a player‑coach on the team’s broader portfolio — holding your own programs while helping your direct reports navigate blockers and deliver against theirs. Translate complex, multi‑org work into clear progress narratives for executive audiences. You know what leadership needs to see and how to present it. Identify risks, stalled decisions, and at‑risk dependencies before they become problems. Other duties as assigned.

About You

10+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record in Program Management. Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages for diverse audiences. Build and mentor a diverse and growing team of technical and non‑technical Program Managers. Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills to manage a complex portfolio of initiatives across a range of departments. Operate with a high degree of autonomy defining the path for you and the team. Deep understanding of how manufacturing and operations environments work — with 7+ years of experience driving programs in this space. Comfort working in organizations without mature systems, clean data, or clear processes.

Bonus Points

Prior experience managing or developing a team of program managers. Background in high‑growth hardware, automation, or robotics environments. Experience designing or overhauling operational processes at scale — service operations, order fulfillment, or manufacturing workflows.

Location

This is a hybrid position based out of our Salem office. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Agility Robotics is a multi‑state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions who work in other locations. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Salary

Anticipated Base Salary Range $149,000 — $193,000 USD

Benefits

In addition to base pay, our competitive total rewards package consists of the following for full‑time employees:

  • 401(k) Plan: Includes a 6% company match.

  • Equity: Company stock options.

  • Insurance Coverage: 100% company‑paid medical, dental, vision, and short/long‑term disability insurance for employees.

  • Benefit Start Date: Eligible for benefits on your first day of employment.
