Our Impact:

The Treasury Governance team within theInvestments & Capital Markets Divisionsetsthe policy and requirements thatgovernsthe end-to-end payment processand provide oversight and advisory forpayment processing activitiesacross Freddie Mac.

We help thecompany tomanage risks related topaymentprocess to an acceptable level and report on the end-to-end payment risk profile.


Your Impact:

  • Support maintenance of Payment Risk Management Frameworkthat conforms with industry leading practices,standardsand specifications;

  • Support maintenance ofCorporatepolicies,proceduresand standards for corporate payment process;

  • Support oversight of business area's compliance withCorporateprocedures for corporate payment process;

  • Support periodic corporate aggregation assessments of unmitigated payment risks across the company;

  • Support periodic reporting of the aggregated payment fraud risks, KRIs, KPIs, and KCIs for the end-to-end payment management reporting

  • Support periodic risk and control assessmentsfor payment processesas outlined in Corporate Risk Assessment Standard;

  • Support the development of end-to-end payment process control testing oversight plan;

  • Execute the end-to-end design review of controls for all payment processes

  • Execute manual/automated control testing oversight. Challenging test scripts and test of one and operating effectiveness results from anend to endview;

  • Reviewsignificantchanges thatimpactpayment processes or systems todeterminethat the risk and controls have been adequately assessed from an end-to-end view;

  • Support training Freddie Mac staff about payments fraud; industry trends andappropriate safeguardsand tips; and

  • Support other assigned governanceand advisoryactivities


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus2-4years of operational risk/process management and/or audit experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio)

  • Previousbig four experience and/or relevant professional certifications (CPA, CFA, Six Sigma green belt/black belt, CIA, etc.) a plus

  • Familiarity with the COSO internal control framework

  • Knowledge of payment processing, third party and information and technology risk and control capabilities (architecture, identity and access management, software/hardware security)

  • Basic understanding of AI concepts and their business applications is a plus

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $74,000 - $112,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
