Job DetailsResponsibilities:

As the Head of Finance, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the board of directors and the finance, audit, and investment committees of the board.
  2. Developing and implementing strategies for the financial health of the company, including long-term financial planning and forecasting.
  3. Managing and overseeing the entire accounting and finance departments, including multi-entity operations.
  4. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
  5. Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
  6. Implementing and managing all financial controls and systems within the business, and ensuring that the company’s budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
  7. Managing organizational cash flow and forecasting.
  8. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the CEO and board of directors.
  9. Working closely with other senior executives to accelerate company growth and profitability.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
  2. An MBA or related advanced degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  4. Prior experience in the Manufacturing or similar industry is highly desirable.
  5. Prior experience as a Vice President or Director in a similar industry.
  6. Expertise in multi-entity accounting and financial systems.
  7. Strong knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
  8. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  9. High integrity and openness combined with a commitment to good governance.
  10. A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
