Job description

Licensed Interior Designer

The role: Full-time 40 hrs/week

Location: OKC, Tulsa, or Norman

Salaried with benefits (PTO, Retirement Program, Health/Vision/Dental Insurance)


MA+ Architecture, a leading Architecture and Interior Design firm in Oklahoma, is seeking a full-time Licensed Interior Designer to work with members of its Architecture and Interior Design Team. Applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software and have five years of experience preferred in Interior Design. This role requires a collaborative approach to design, the ability to multitask, and a comprehensive knowledge of construction documents.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with product vendors to evaluate and select interior materials and finishes.
  • Attend occasional networking/continued education events outside of work.
  • Manage design projects and work with architects on comprehensive designs during all phases of design and construction.
  • Coordinate with and work under the guidance of the Director of Interior Design.


Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.
  • 5 years experience preferred in Interior Design.


Additional:

  • Licensed Interior Designer with the State of Oklahoma.
  • Comprehensive experience in design standards, code compliance, and creating and reading construction documents.
  • Strong skills in time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate well with others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt to different communication styles.
  • Ability to balance multiple Interior Design concept projects while maintaining project deadlines.
  • Initiative and willingness to keep up with trends in Interior Design and Architecture.
