Job description

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Performance to be based in our Palo Alto, CA headquarters. We operate in a hybrid environment with 3 days in office.

As a Head of Performance, you will serve as the dedicated financial thought partner to our Growth, Retention, and Brand Marketing organizations - sitting at the intersection of finance and consumer growth. You will own the end-to-end revenue forecast, build the frameworks that connect marketing investment to topline outcomes, and translate complex data into clear strategic decisions. You will be in charge of ensuring the marketing team is best positioned to drive performance on a daily basis, working closely with leadership.

You will partner daily with our Marketing, Data Science, Inventory Planning, and Storefront teams, bringing financial rigor and commercial judgment to every major growth initiative. Your models and insights will directly shape how we allocate capital and how we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the topline revenue forecast across paid acquisition, organic, lifecycle/CRM, and partnerships
  • Maintain and evolve a cohort-based revenue model connecting growth marketing inputs (spend, channel mix, CAC, conversion rates) to customer count and revenue outputs (revenue, LTV, retention cohorts)
  • Set targets across all marketing channels, own spend mix allocation, and partner analytically with channel managers to unlock greater spend efficiency and scale simultaneously
  • Lead weekly and monthly revenue variance analysis, explaining actuals vs. forecast at a granular driver level, highlighting emerging trends, and recommending corrective actions
  • Work closely with the data organization to improve and automatize spend models

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 4 - 8 years of experience in investment banking and private or growth equity, or equivalent role in marketing organization

  • Proficiency in cohort and unit economic KPIs (LTV, payback periods, retention cohorts)

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; working SQL or AI-assisted coding platforms for independent data pulls and analysis

  • Proven ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations that influence business decisions, not just reporting numbers
