As of September 30, 2025, Fiera Capital managed $166.9B CAD globally and $145B within public markets. Fiera Capital Public Markets features a robust platform across active equities, as well as core, core plus, and global fixed income offered to institutional and intermediary clients.

The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships to drive asset growth across the firm's public markets investment platform with a focus on the Canadian advisor channel.

Reporting into the Head of Public Markets Sales, Canada, the successful candidate will play a crucial role driving business development efforts for Fiera Capital's public markets platform with a focus on Ontario and Quebec. The chosen candidate will work in close collaboration with our client coverage teams, Strategy Specialists, and Investment teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of the Canadian advisor landscape and a proven track record in asset management sales.

Your responsibilities:

  • Build, nurture, and grow relationships with top advisors to generate new assets under management (AUM).
  • Proactively engage advisors through meetings, calls, and events to position the firm's investment platform and solutions.
  • Maintain and continuously develop a high-quality advisor database, ensuring accurate segmentation and coverage of priority relationships.
  • Partner closely with the broader Sales team as well as the Marketing and Investment teams to align messaging and content materials.
  • Execute territory plans focused on increasing wallet share and deepening advisor penetration.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activity, pipeline development and progress against relevant metrics.
  • Represent Fiera Capital to relevant industry conferences to increase brand awareness and engage with existing and prospective investors.
  • Cultivate strong internal relationships and stay current on firm strategy, investment strategies, and the competitive landscape.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business)
  • 5+ years of experience in the investment management industry in client-facing roles
  • CFA or CIM designation a strong asset
  • Experience with model-traded SMAs, ETFs, and mutual funds
  • Proven track record generating business growth with advisors in Canada
  • Deep knowledge of the Canadian advisor market, with strong relationships in Eastern Canada considered a major asset
  • Strong ability to lead platform introduction meetings and single investment strategy meetings
  • Exceptional organizational skills: technological and organizational capabilities to efficiently manage a large pipeline and consistently dispatch high quality and timely follow ups for highest priority opportunities
  • Operates with diligence, urgency, and a proactive, client-first approach
  • Process-oriented: utilizes sales best practices to optimize for positive business development outcomes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independent and navigate a dynamic, growth-oriented environment

Additional Information:

  • Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week.
  • The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000. This role is also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses and employee benefits. This salary range is for Ontario.
