Description:

The role and responsibility of the Office Manager includes working closely with the Head of Administration. This multifaceted role combines legal support, office administration, and financial management to ensure a smooth day to day operation at Marcel. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, able to manage competing priorities, and comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment.

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Contract management, think paralegal
      • Facilitate communication between prospect or client and Marcel, and when needed outside counsel
      • Maintain up to date contract templates
      • Manage the contract lifecycle by coordinating contract creation, revisions, amendments, renewals, execution, document retention, and ongoing maintenance to ensure accuracy, compliance and accessibility of all contractual records
    • Bookkeeping
      • General bookkeeping

      • Time and materials billing
      • Assist with closing the month
      • Sourcing Order for vendors
      • Client PO/IO billing
