Job description

APi Group is seeking a Oracle Cloud Analyst specializing in Core HR, Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking to serve as a functional analyst for our People organization. This role owns the configuration, stability, and continuous improvement of Core HR within Oracle HCM Cloud and acts as a key partner to the Centers of Excellence, People Operations, Finance, and IT.
You will translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, ensure accurate and employee data, and guide teams through system changes and quarterly Oracle releases. This role blends deep Oracle functional expertise with hands-on system configuration and leading improvements from discovery through testing and production.

What You Will Do
Core HR Functional Ownership
  • Serve as the functional owner of Core HR processes, including worker lifecycle events, organizational structures, jobs, and positions
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence teams to evaluate business needs and recommend system solutions
  • Ensure alignment between HR policies, business processes, and system configuration

System Configuration & Enhancements
  • Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Core HR to support evolving business requirements across Oracle Cloud HCM modules (Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, etc)
  • Assess and prioritize system changes, balancing scalability, data integrity, and user experience
  • Maintain clear documentation for configuration, design solutions, and process changes

Release & Change Management
  • Lead functional preparation and communication for quarterly Oracle HCM Cloud releases
  • Assess impact of new features on Core HR processes and advise stakeholders on adoption
  • Coordinate and support regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Data Integrity & Governance
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of worker and organizational data
  • Support data updates and reconciliation as needed
  • Partner with the People team and IT on user access governance and periodic access reviews

Reporting & Insights
  • Deliver Core HR operational and compliance reporting to support HR leadership and People Operations
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into meaningful insights

Controls, Compliance & Documentation
  • Follow SOX change management and IT general controls (ITGCs) for system changes
  • Provide documentation and audit support as required

Training & Enablement
  • Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and knowledge articles
  • Provide functional training and support to People team members

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4 years of Oracle Cloud HCM/HRIS hands on configuration experience with deep focus on Core HR
  • Foundational knowledge of HR business cycles, data , and annual business events
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and facilitating discussions with business stakeholders
  • Experience in HR reporting tools and dashboards (OTBI, BI Publisher)
  • Experience collaborating as part of an HR Technology team to develop best practices and drive process improvements
  • Experience supporting system releases and testing cycles
  • Familiarity with SOX, change management, or audit controls
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and creating clear and user-friendly documentation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle HCM certification or SHRM certification

This role is based in our New Brighton, MN office. The salary range for this position is $67,000-$121,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
