Job description

Title Siemens Teamcenter PLM Data Migration Engineer

Implementation Partner HCL America

Location: Charlotte, NC 28217 (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

5-8 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM. (relevant Teamcenter migration experience)

Execute data migration activities during:

  • Migration rehearsals
  • UAT cycles
  • Production migration runs
  • Run data validation tools and generate validation reports
  • Ensure data completeness, correctness, and consistency in the target system
  • Identify, analyze, and report:
  • Data issues
  • Migration defects
  • Data inconsistencies
  • Support defect resolution and re-validation cycles during migration execution

Collaborate with:

  • Migration developers and architects
  • Validation engineers and business SMEs
  • Provide feedback for improving:
  • Migration tools
  • Data migration processes and performance
  • Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities

Required Skills:

  • Experience in data migration projects (PLM / Teamcenter preferred)

Understanding of:

  • Data migration lifecycle (ETL concepts)
  • Data validation and reconciliation techniques

Exposure to:

  • Teamcenter data structures (BOM, Item, Dataset, etc.)
  • Migration tools and scripts
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills for migration defects.
