Job Summary:

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking a Chief of Emergency Medicine Physician to join the dynamic team in the ED and surrounding FSEDs.

Description:

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is a 447-bed acute care facility with a Level I Trauma Center designation and the area’s only Adult and Pediatric Burn Center. The ED has a volume of 84,000 (adult and Peds) and the physicians see about 2.1 pph. It has 4 associated FSED's (Town and Country FSED, Doral FSED, Cutler Bay FSED and South Dade FSED) and Physicians will cover/rotate through all locations.

  • 36-bed ED with 10 Chair Fast Track
  • 12 Peds ED beds (24-hour coverage)
  • 55 hours of Physician coverage (adult)
  • 12 hours of Advanced Practice Providers (adult)
  • ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program
  • EM Fellowship Programs in US, Admin and Operations
  • EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, dragon dictation

Qualified Candidates:

  • Must have completed an EM Residency and Board Certified within 5 years
  • Ideally at least 5 years Chief/Director experience
  • Must have active ACLS, ATLS and PALS
