Job Summary:

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Florida Hospital in Sanford, FL in conjunction with University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking an exceptional Internal Medicine physician to join our residency program as core faculty.
Qualified Candidates:
  • ABIM certification required
  • Outpatient continuity clinic position
  • Program will have 12 residents per academic year
  • Prior experience in practice and resident teaching is preferred but not required
  • Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activities
  • Incoming physician will receive a faculty appointment with University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM)

  • Accredited 221-bed, Level 2 trauma center
  • Established in 1982, we are the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia
  • Other specialized services including orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, and complete imaging services.
  • U.S. FDA-accredited with the Mammography Quality Standards Act and Program
  • Accredited for CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound by the American College of Radiology
