To thrive as a Healthcare Assistant, you need basic knowledge of patient care, hygiene, and safety protocols, often supported by a relevant healthcare qualification or NVQ. These skills ensure quality patient care, efficient support for nursing staff, and a positive healthcare environment.

What are some common challenges faced by HCAs (Health Care Assistants) in inpatient settings, and how can they be managed?

HCAs in inpatient settings often face challenges such as managing a fast-paced workload, adapting to patients' varying needs, and maintaining effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
