Work hours: Full Time Days - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Heres' What You Need:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
Other technical training and/or science program to produce appropriate licensure required.
Associate degree science related field preferred
Year clinical experience (preferably EMT) required.
6 Months hyperbaric diving experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Other Registered and/or licensed in the State of Texas as a RT, LVN, LPN, CHT, PT, or EMT. Upon Hire Required
Other Complete an approved NBDHMT introductory hyperbaric training course within 45 days of entry into the position. 45 Days required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Here's What You Will Do:
Chamber Operations:
Ensures safe chamber operations.
Perform hyperbaric chamber operations and system maintenance/cleaning as required.
Identifies equipment malfunctions.
Patient Care:
Acts as inside attendant if needed based on chamber design.
Provides necessary patient care inside chamber.
Monitors patients inside chamber.
Assists physicians and nurses.
Provides pre-treatment patient care.
Handles patient care records.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals
Professional Accountability:
Actively participates in hospital initiatives or committees as appropriate.
Attends 75% of department staff meetings and town halls.
Adheres to system, hospital, and department policies and procedures.
Completes mandatory training by established deadline.
Completes employee health requirements by established deadline.
Maintains licensure, certification, and/or registry as required.
Recognizes and communicates ethical and legal concerns through established channels of communication.
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Performs other work as requested that is reasonably related to the employee's position, qualifications, and competencies.
