William A. Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor for over 60 years, is looking for a Construction Manager. The Construction Manager provides strategic oversight of assigned site development projects and project teams, ensuring operational, financial, and safety performance across a portfolio of work. This role bridges executive leadership and project delivery teams, driving process, standards, and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate project risk and develop mitigation strategies
  • Oversee resource allocation (staffing, equipment) across active projects
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Report project and portfolio performance to executive leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction processes, technology adoption, and field productivity
  • Participate in strategic planning, hiring, and organizational development

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including 3-5+ years in a multi-project leadership role
  • Deep expertise in site development/civil construction operations, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills
  • Experience with enterprise construction management software and reporting systems
