Position Summary

The Equipment Operator – Hawk’s Eye plays a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of the Hawk’s Eye Golf Course. This position is responsible for the safe and effective operation of turf maintenance equipment to ensure optimal playing conditions. Working under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, this role supports daily course maintenance and overall guest experience.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate riding and walk-behind mowers to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and roughs

  • Use trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles for course detailing and cleanup

  • Rake and maintain bunkers, water features, and landscaped areas

  • Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks safely and efficiently

  • Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly

  • Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and seasonal transitions

  • Support tournament and event preparation as needed

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Follow all safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment

  • Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in golf course, park, or turf maintenance

  • Familiarity with reel and rotary mowers and turf equipment

  • Basic knowledge of golf course layout and maintenance practices
