Our Project Managers and Engineers collaborate with a team of local Hawaii-based small business to deliver the most challenging projects from Diego Garcia to Hawaii, from Australia to Japan. We also have the capability to reach back to over 13,000 employees worldwide when specialized expertise is needed. We have a record of outstanding, award winning performance delivering projects in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific.

In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Engineer, we'll count on you to: 
  • Take responsibility for performing complex assignments utilizing judgment in performing engineering analyses and design.
  • Work on project teams including Senior Engineers and EITs on the design of site development and water infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Design site and utility infrastructure systems related to drinking water, wastewater, and water resources including the development and preparation of the construction plans, specifications and estimates of construction cost.
  • Prepare preliminary engineering reports or studies.
  • Complete engineering calculations to support design decisions and recommendations.
  • Perform site visits and field investigations when required.
  • Assist with engineering services during construction including review of material submittals and requests for information.
  • Function as a project manager on small and medium sized projects as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor entry-level engineers.
  • Work with local team to perform marketing and business development activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS 
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects

*POSITION CAN BE BASED IN HONOLULU OR MAUI

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
