  • Private‑practice model where your voice matters in scheduling, templates, and how the practice grows.
  • Opportunity to help shape and expand cardiovascular services on Maui rather than just “fitting into” a large system.

Compensation and financial support

  • Competitive base salary: 425,000–500,000 per year (DOE), with production bonus potential.
  • Up to six months of housing provided to make your move to Maui easier and more affordable.

  • 401(k) with employer contribution to help you start building long‑term financial security.
  • Moving expense reimbursement up to $15,000

Benefits and lifestyle

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus malpractice coverage provided.
  • Paid time off and holidays, with a culture that encourages you to use your vacation.
  • FSA, short‑ and long‑term disability, and life insurance options for additional peace of mind.

Schedule, support, and practice culture

  • Flexible scheduling and protected administrative time to keep your evenings and weekends more predictable.
  • Shared light call and strong support from medical assistants, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and front office to minimize administrative burden so you can focus on patient care—not paperwork.
  • Streamlined workflow and assistance with patient chart documentation.
  • Modern cardiology equipment and EMR with streamlined workflows and help managing your inbox and documentation.
  • Collegial, low‑ego group that values teaching, collaboration, and supporting new attendings as they transition from fellowship.

Growth, mentorship, and future opportunities

  • Direct mentorship from experienced general cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons.
  • Leadership opportunities within the practice as we continue to grow on Maui and across Hawaii.
  • Involvement in program development, quality initiatives, and community outreach; optional teaching of students/trainees as opportunities arise.

Lifestyle and location

  • Live and work on Maui with quick access to beaches, hiking, water sports, and a family‑friendly, relaxed community.
  • Family-friendly community with a relaxed island lifestyle.
  • Easy inter-island connections to Oahu and other islands for travel and professional collaboration.
  • Maui offers a convenient flight connections to major hubs in mainland US, Canada, Japan, Korea, Philippines and other parts in Asia making it easier to visit family, collaborate internationally, or attend conferences in the region.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship.
