Description
The Hat Coat Checker provides efficient and courteous service for the guests and oversees the dining room activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in maintaining cleanliness of outlet.
  • Ensure coverage of the entrance, greeting arriving guests and thanking those that are leaving.
  • Assist with special event set-up, such as skirting buffet or inserting menu cards.
  • Answer the telephone, take reservations and give directions to restaurant.
  • Resolve guest problems whenever possible and direct communication with manager.
  • Assist guests with their coats and hats.
  • Ensure that guest bathrooms are maintained at all times.
  • Bring guests' needs to the attention of appropriate dining room staff or management.
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
