Lexington Sporting Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Red Hat to support matchday communications operations during Men's and Women's home matches. This gameday position works closely with broadcast, communications, and match operations staff to ensure accurate and timely communication throughout each match. 


Responsibilities 

  • Sit at the 4th official's table during home matches and monitor live game activity 
  • Communicate game updates in real time to the broadcast and communications staff 
  • Relay accurate information regarding: Goal Scorers, Assists, Yellow or Red Cards, Substitutions, Injury Stoppages, Added time and other official math updates. 
  • Work closely with match officials, communications, broadcast and other staff throughout the match 
  • Maintain clear, professional and timely communication in a fast-paced live sports environment 
  • Track game flow closely and identify match situations quickly and accurately 
  • Assist with additional pregame and postgame march operations 
  • Represent Lexington Sporting Club professionally on matchdays 

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of soccer rules, terminology and game glow 
  • Ability to stay focused and organized in a live-event environment 
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick observations 
  • Previous experience in sports communication, broadcasting or matchday operations is preferred 
  • Must be dependable, punctual and professional 


Work Environment 

  • Live stadium environment during matchdays with large crowds and high noise levels 
  • Outdoor venue with potential exposure to varying weather conditions  
  • Close coordination with production, marketing, and game presentation staff 
  • Event-based scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere requiring strong focus and communication
