A 'dog salary' is not a standard job title or term in employment. However, it sometimes refers humorously to the earnings paid to dogs that work in entertainment, advertising, or as animal actors. In these cases, the 'salary' is actually compensation paid to the dog's owner or handler for the dog's work. The amount can vary widely depending on the dog's role, experience, and the production budget. There is no fixed 'salary' for dogs, and compensation is usually arranged on a per-project basis.
