Job Title: AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer
Location:  Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate – For Infrastructure Automation skills.

Job Description/ Responsibilities
  • Build and operate container platforms using Amazon ECS/EKS (EC2 and/or Fargate) including clusters, services, task definitions, autoscaling, IAM roles, and ALB/NLB integrations.
  • Implement modern deployment strategies such as blue/green and controlled rollouts, with strong rollback mechanisms and environment consistency.
  • Create and govern Terraform modules/patterns for consistent provisioning (VPC, IAM, ECS, logging/monitoring, and shared services), including remote state, versioning, and promotion across environments
  • Understand the client process and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (CI) and Spinnaker (CD) to standardize build, test, artifact promotion, and deployments to ECS.
  • Implement end-to-end observability: APM, metrics, tracing, logging, dashboards, alerts, and SLO-style operational readiness using Dynatrace + Splunk integrated with ECS workloads.
  • Establish standards for telemetry collection (e.g., sidecar-based collection patterns where applicable) and ensure operations teams can diagnose issues rapidly
