Scorpion Harley-Davidson Service Writer Opportunity

Scorpion Harley-Davidson is seeking outgoing, friendly individuals to join our Service Team! If you are a positive, upbeat, and interactive Service Writer with a passion for customer service, this opportunity may be perfect for you!

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, recall work
  • Greet customers, inspect their motorcycles, and answer questions
  • Document problems with Motorcycles and clearly describe them on the Repair Order
  • Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known, so the customer can be immediately notified
  • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and cost
  • Offer additional services and products, including special promotions
  • Review Repair Orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Follow the status of a customer's powersports vehicle from service bay entry through the completion of work
  • Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer
  • Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer
  • Maintain current technical qualifications by completing all training programs assigned by the Service Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of Powersports, Harley-Davidson, or Automotive Dealership service experience
  • 1+ years Commission Based customer-facing sales experience (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
  • Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, and dependable personality
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Motorcycle Endorsement preferred
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
