Job description

This would be a hybrid position with both work-from-home/in-office work based out of our Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN (specifically Carmel) or our IoT Innovation Center in Appleton, WI reporting directly to the Director of Things Engineering. Fully remote teammates will be taken into consideration in certain circumstances.

Requirements
Interesting Capabilities
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuits, schematics, PCB layouts, and system architectures
  • Experience using industry-standard tools such as KiCAD, Altium Designer, Cadence, SPICE, and OrCAD
  • Knowledge of embedded IoT technologies such as STMicroelectronics, Espressif, and NXP technologies; and connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Cellular communication modules, antennas, and components
  • Familiarity with hardware regulations and compliance standards such as FCC, IC, CE, RoHS, and IPC
  • Familiarity with EVT, DVT, and PVT processes
  • Familiarity with hardware testing and validation best practices that verify designs and incoming PCBAs
  • Familiarity with version control, agile planning tools, and peer review, such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, and Git
