The Test Solutions (TS) Effectors team within the Hardware Discipline Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing Production and Engineering test solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designers using the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.  TS products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. TS has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment. 

Test Systems Engineering Team is seeking an Electrical Engineer on our Testability team. As a member of the Testability Engineering team, you will assist with the development of Test Requirements and master test lists for products ranging from individual CCAs up to Guidance Sections and All-Up Rounds (full missiles). You will also be tasked with performing Testability Analyses to verify adequate test coverage.

What You Will Do

  • Develop test processes, test requirements, functional decompositions, interface modeling, and Embedded/Built-In Test recommendations. 

  • Evaluate schematics and system testability to make design and test recommendations for fault isolation and test access.

  • Collaborate across all engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment (TEn) capabilities and requirements with an eye towards how prime hardware should be tested at different levels.

  • Manage schedules and resources to meet assigned milestones

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience.

  • Experience in test systems requirements definition.

  • Experience working with the Test Equipment development process, somewhere within the lifecycle, from project start-up through verification and validation of the test system.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Electrical or Computer Engineering degree or background

  • Previous work experience with Systems Engineering standard views such as Block Definition Diagrams, Context Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams.

  • Working knowledge of Test Systems design, development, integration, and verification activities across the product lifecycle.

  • Experience performing testability analysis on circuit cards and other assemblies.

  • Experience using the DSI eXpress Testability modeling software.

  • Experience with use of common electrical test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.

  • Experience testing/troubleshooting circuit cards or other electronics.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
