Yard & Warehouse ForemanWood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply
Pay: (based on experience)

At Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply, we're looking for a leader who takes ownership, sets the pace, and helps keep our operation running smoothly.
As Yard Foreman, you'll oversee the daily activities of our lumber yard and warehouse, ensuring products are received, organized, loaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. You'll work alongside the team, lead by example, and help create an environment where customers receive exceptional service and employees take pride in their work.
What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Lead and support yard and warehouse team members
  • Coordinate daily loading, unloading, and material handling operations
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe yard environment
  • Oversee receiving and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure customer orders are pulled accurately and ready on time
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and developing team members
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
  • Work closely with store leadership to improve efficiency and customer service
  • Help solve problems and keep operations moving throughout the day
What We're Looking For
  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to lead from the front
  • Experience in lumber, building materials, warehouse operations, logistics, or related industries preferred
  • Ability to motivate and hold team members accountable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified)
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move building materials safely
