Job description

Position: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Location: West Lafayette, IN (With Relocation Assistance)
Type: Full-time | On-site
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, simulate, and prototype advanced embedded hardware for wearable and biomedical applications
  • Own schematics, multilayer PCB layout, and full system integration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with industrial design, product architecture, and supply chain teams
  • Specify components, build custom circuits, and adapt vendor reference designs
  • Lead validation, bring-up, testing, and launch of smart devices (e.g., smart glasses, rings, watches, sensors)

Required:
  • Experience in embedded hardware development
  • Proven experience independently designing and shipping wearable or IoT devices
  • Strong foundation in analog circuit design and debugging
  • Experience with embedded systems and board bring-up

Preferred:
  • Experience designing 4-layer or mixed-signal PCBs
  • Background in low-power hardware, audio circuits, or RF (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS)
  • Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, I2S, and MIPI interfaces
  • Strong prototyping skills and ability to lead projects across engineering disciplines
