Job description

High Concrete Group LLC combines innovation, proven technology, and 100 years of experience providing first-rate service and design assistance to create beautiful precast concrete structures. We have provided precast concrete structures and enclosure systems for a wide variety of projects including educational, government, multi-unit residential, retail, sports complexes/stadiums, and parking garages.
High Concrete Group in Denver, PA is actively searching for an Stockroom Order Picker. The Stockroom Order Picker is responsible to gather and deliver all hardware to the plant as required to meet production needs. Perform other duties as assisned to insure the plant has the necessary materials to complete pieces accurately and efficiently per the production schedule.
This is a 1st shift position starting at 7AM.
General Duties:
  • Gather, organize, receive, deliver all materials for daily pouring
  • Receive all deliveries / process paperwork
  • Requisition and maintain inventory levels for purchased hardware and consumable materials
  • Create requisitions for other departments
  • Maintain an organized work area and support 6S in other departments
  • Participate in monthly inventory to insure hardware levels
  • Ability to problem solve and take immediate action on safety / quality / productivity issues
  • Interacts with all levels of the Organization to achieve company goals
  • Meets production metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and material
  • Working in outdoor elements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Concrete and/or construction experience, preferred
  • 3 years precast panel construction, preferred
  • Good communication / follow up skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects / tasks on a daily basis
  • Ability to operate computer / electronic systems
  • Must have valid driver license / clean driving record , required
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, required
  • Ability to obtain Forklift certification, required
  • Ability to work outside year round
