Job description

The Company: All Around Property Care is a full-service landscaping company headquartered in Stroudsburg, PA. We are expanding our installation crew seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our growing team of landscape professionals as a Hardscape Foreman. We are known for our attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and great work atmosphere. To ensure that our team members enjoy a great work/life balance, we schedule four-day work weeks (weather permitting). As a growing organization, we are seeking a driven candidate who is eager to grow with our team!

The Role: The Hardscape Foreman is responsible for supervising a crew while ensuring that all installation jobs are serviced and completed accurately, timely and safely. Jobs include, but are not limited to, hardscape installation of pavers, retaining walls, natural stone features, plant installation, etc. Key responsibilities include ability to operate heavy machinery, interpret blueprints and instructions, on-site team leadership, professional client communication, material/equipment management and hands-on installation or maintenance. As our company continues to grow, and we expand our service area, there are many opportunities for professional growth from within. 

This position will transfer into a snow removal position during the winter season. Snow removal is mandatory for all employees.

The Hardscape Foreman will report directly to the operations manager and will be responsible for ensuring that our standards are upheld every day. Qualified applicants will have a desire to treat every property like it is their own, be self-motivated, dependable, and have a positive attitude. All applicants must share a commitment to the highest standards in customer service, quality, and professionalism.

The Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with hardscape equipment
  • Ability to safely operate all hardscape equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift at least 50lbs
  • Must possess leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate crew members
  • Openness and eagerness to learn new skills as well as train staff in materials
  • Must be able to understand instructions and complete given tasks thoroughly
  • Prior snow removal experience
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Prior experience driving a truck and trailer
  • Dependability, attention to detail, good work ethic, and honesty
  • Must be able to obtain a PA DOT physical card (paid for by the company)

The Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage day to day projects
  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure good operating condition
  • Ensure trucks and trailers are properly equipment for each project
  • Guarantee that all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines/standards are being upheld by all crew members
  • Monitor and ensure that team members are following safety regulations to minimize accident risk
  • Proper reporting of any accidents or customer complaints
  • The Hardscape Foreman will be responsible for ensuring our standards are upheld on everyday
  • Qualified applicants will have a desire to treat every property like it is their own, will value team work, will be dependable and have a positive attitude.
