Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: One-year in commercial food handling preferred
Skills:- Knife Skills
- Basic equipment operation & safe handling practices
- Cold food preparation and serving
- Proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Proficient in Outlook and Excel preferred.
- Knowledge of a point-of-sale system preferred.
- Nassau County Department of Health sanitation certificate preferred.
- Ability to understand the Spanish language is helpful.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and turning.
- Receiving of information through oral communication and a computer.
- Exposure to heat and noise.
