Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Harbor Therapy Center, you will:

  • Conduct therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals, developing tailored treatment plans that address a diverse range of concerns.
  • Utilize effective therapeutic modalities to aid patients in overcoming challenges related to relationship dynamics, emotional well-being, and family structures.
  • Facilitate sessions addressing issues such as alcohol or substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, communication difficulties, and mental health adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans as needed in compliance with state regulations and best practices.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed of the latest therapeutic approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The role involves working with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families from varying backgrounds. You will address an array of concerns, including but not limited to, marital conflicts, parent-child relationship issues, mental health challenges, grief, and the complexities associated with blended families. Qualifications
