Job description

Harba Solutions is partnering with a client in Hamilton County to hire a Engineering Director, Capital Projects. This role ensures site infrastructure, utilities, assets, and support systems are reliable, compliant, and aligned with current and future business needs. The successful candidate must be a builder - not a caretaker - with the energy and leadership capability to develop people, strengthen organizational capability, improve reliability, execute strategic projects, and support business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop/ execute the site Asset Management strategy and long-term lifecycle plans.
  • Improve reliability, uptime, and maintenance effectiveness through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered programs.
  • Strengthen spare parts strategy, CMMS governance, and asset performance controls.
  • Lead site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure operations.
  • Ensure systems remain reliable, compliant, and capable of supporting business growth.
  • Develop infrastructure roadmaps and oversee expansions, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Lead the site capital portfolio, governance, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Oversee contractors, engineering firms, and project suppliers.
  • Ensure EHS compliance and regulatory readiness.
  • Drive a proactive safety culture and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
  • Develop and execute energy reduction and sustainability strategies.
  • Monitor utility performance, consumption, and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Shared Services organization.
  • Coach leaders, create accountability, and strengthen performance management.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration, engagement, and leadership development.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, asset management, capital projects, facilities, or manufacturing support functions.
  • Cleanroom build and WFI systems experience required
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing large capital portfolios and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams.


Compensation:

$160-180k + annual bonus
