Job description

Position Summary

Hans-Mill Corp. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support our plastic injection molding and assembly operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and compliance requirements through in-process and final inspections.

This is a hands-on position working directly on the production floor with operators, supervisors, and leadership to maintain quality standards and prevent defects.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform in-process and final inspections on molded and assembled products

· Verify part dimensions, labeling, and appearance against specifications

· Conduct visual and functional inspections for defects (flash, short shots, contamination, labeling errors, etc.)

· Use basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, templates, scales)

· Complete inspection records, check sheets, and quality documentation accurately

· Identify and report nonconforming material immediately

· Support containment, sorting, and rework activities when needed

· Ensure proper barcode and product verification before shipment

· Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams

· Follow all safety policies and 5S standards

· Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred

· Experience in plastic injection molding is a plus

· Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications

· Strong attention to detail and consistency

· Basic math and measurement skills

· Comfortable standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
