Role Overview / Purpose and Scope
The Live Hanger is responsible for hanging chickens on shackles on the production line while working as part of a team to support consistent product flow and production efficiency. This role helps ensure shackles remain full while following safety, sanitation, quality, and GMP standards.
The Live Hanger plays an important role in supporting Farmer Focus production operations by performing essential production line duties, communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $22.75/hr
Additional Compensation: Shift differential available for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to the poultry production environment and involves working with live poultry and production line equipment. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment are required in the production area. Hair and beard nets are required in the production area. Additional personal protective equipment may be required based on task, location, and safety requirements. This position requires standing for long periods, repetitive use of hands and fine motor skills, lifting up to 60 pounds consistently, working near production equipment, and performing fast-paced production line duties.
