Live Bird Hanger
Tasks:
Tyson Foods Inc., is now accepting applications for its live bird hang positions. Come and join the biggest protein producer in the world. Willingness to work in the live processing area in any available shift. Tyson Foods offers competitive wages and benefits to include but not limited to retention/referral bonuses, 9 paid holidays, vacation, 401K retirement, stock, and medical insurance including dental and vision.
Requirements:
The Live Hanger is responsible for hanging live birds on conveyer shackles at a rate of 24 birds per minute. The work environment in Live Hang is dark and very dusty as the birds come straight from the farm to our hanging pen. The job requires stamina as it is a fast-paced job that requires hanging heavy chickens.
Willingness to work in a live bird area department. Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line. Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level. Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach. Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area.)
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times
This facility accepts rehires after 180 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal
