We are searching for applicants who have knowledge and leads lessons in knitting, crochet, sewing, cross-stitch, felting and other fiber arts. Through meaningful, process-based work, students strengthen fine motor coordination, attention to detail, a sense of aesthetic form, and joy in purposeful activity. Must have Multiple Subject credential.

Requirements / Qualifications Responsibilities: Handwork Education and Training Teaching experience in classroom/group settings for elementary and/or middle school Willingness to learn about Waldorf education and incorporate Waldorf principles of child development into teaching. Waldorf training preferred, or interest in, or familiarity with Waldorf education Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development Promote independent play, social-emotional development, peer relationships, and self-regulation skills Support students' social emotional well-being throughout the day Be a part of a community that values collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning Participate in onsite professional development to deepen understanding of Waldorf principles and practices Foster an inclusive environment that promotes diversity, equity, and belonging Ensure student safety and follow all school policies and procedures Qualifications: Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
