Role Overview
Material Handlers ensure that production runs smoothly by managing the flow of materials throughout the facility. Beyond moving products, you will inspect, organize, and track inventory, ensuring that components are delivered accurately and on time. Your attention to detail helps identify potential issues before they impact operations, supporting both efficiency and high-quality standards. Every task you perform directly contributes to the success of our production team and the reliability of the products we deliver to customers.
Location : Peachtree City, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts with Friday mandatory unless otherwise communicated, and additional shifts or overtime may be scheduled as needed to meet production demands.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Move materials and components to production areas in a timely and safe manner.
  • Track inventory, maintain accurate records, and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Identify and report damaged or defective materials to prevent production issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers) and other equipment to move products.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, proper handling of hazardous materials, and PPE requirements.
  • Support team productivity and meet departmental performance standards.
  • Meet company targets for inventory accuracy, departmental production, and inventory-related transactions (transfers, putaway, picking).
  • Follow all company attendance policies and requirement
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers) or other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic manual dexterity and ability to move, lift, and handle materials safely.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and meet production goals.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow attendance policies.

Hourly Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $[17.20] per hour for Material Handler I, $[19.35] per hour for Material Handler II, and $[20.60] per hour for Material Handler III. These rates represent Hoshizaki America's good-faith estimate of compensation for each level. Candidates should expect placement at the Material I level, with higher levels determined by internal qualifications and demonstrated skills. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
