Job description

Job Title: Sewing Production Supervisor

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Type: Fulltime

Responsibilities: -

Plans, organizes, and develops production schedules to provide the required level of finished goods for all projects and product lines.

Supervises and manages the daily activities and performance of production personnel for in-house manufacturing and outside contract sewers.

Works to ensure availability of all materials and components necessary to produce the finished products.

Assists in the resolution of production, equipment, and systems problems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in operating sewing and cutting machines to manufacture products according to set specifications including: standards of quality, cost, production, efficiency, and material waste control.

Training new employees in the use of single, multiple-needle, and automated sewing machines and demonstrating work methods and machine operation.

Responsible for overseeing inventories to ensure proper supplies are on hand to meet production demands.

Raw materials forecasting and purchasing.

Assist with product manufacturing forecasting.

New product costing (time studies and bill of material (BOM)
