Experienced Pet Groomer, 2years min required

The Wizard of Paws Pet Salon

Sammamish, WA

Full-time, Part-time

Medical, Retirement, PTO

Re-posted 5 days ago

Job description

LOCATION: Sammamish, WA

Looking for a pet stylist with a minimum of two years experience, well versed in breed standard trims as well as having advanced scissoring skills. Personal pet experience is not sufficient towards the two year minimum requirement.

Must be over 18 years old.

This is a full time or part time position with hourly pay, W-2 employee, PTO, 401k with 4% match, healthcare package for full time employees in which the company pays 80% of the premium, 100% tips, sales goal rewards as well as other little perks that just make for a nice working environment.

Either 4 ten hour shifts or 5 eight hour shifts are standard for this salon.

I'm looking for professional individuals who like a team oriented environment with a focus on quality over quantity in that we take dogs one on one. We strive for a stress free experience for both the groomers and the dog, but understand that every dog is different so different methods might be needed. We have groomers helpers, muzzles, doggie hammocks, happy hoodies and kennels to help make that possible.

We use high quality products and have all electric tables to save your skin and your backs! We have receptionists that take care of the majority of answering the phones, scheduling and cleaning, but it is always appreciated and expected to help out wherever you might be needed if you have the time. This is an all inclusive environment that all should feel safe and appreciated while you perform your work duties.
