Job description

***MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAY*** $20 per hour We are looking for a full-time merchandiser willing to work week-ends and holidays. The candidate must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The main responsibility is to get our great beer off the truck (using a dolly and electric pallet jack) and on the shelves and keep them stocked! If this sounds like fun to you, please apply.
Essential Tasks:
  • Implements themed promotions, marketing programs, and merchandising strategies for designated route.
  • Provides retailer service for the designated route.
  • Administers product rotation policy.
  • Communicates significant market conditions to retailers and employees.
  • Develops and improves account relationships for the designated route.
  • Completes training requirements for current position.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Ability to assist the delivery team and events as required.
  • Ability to use all equipment required for position.
  • Ability to assist the delivery team as needed.

Educational requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent experience.
  • Core competencies in business math and personal computers.

Experiential and skill requirements:
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Minimum of one year of related creative merchandising experience, including display building, in the beverage or grocery environment.

Physical / Sensory requirements:
  • Ability to operate a hand truck, a six-wheel cart, straddle jack, and an electric pallet jack.
  • Ability to visually inspect and read code dates on products.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Texas Class C driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead & 160 lbs. to waist level repeatedly.
  • Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
  • Ability to pass O.S.H.A. forklift certification.
  • Ability to manipulate standard hand tools, such as pliers, screwdrivers, and hammer.
  • Ability to climb a 10' ladder.
