Job description

Job Duties
  • Under general supervision, coordinates the activities involved in maintaining and repairing down-hole equipment, and surface equipment.
  • Promote services excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced maintenance personnel.
  • Assigns work to subordinate personnel.
  • Schedules equipment to be serviced and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Insure the successful execution of maintenance processes in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Diagnoses, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on conventional tools, down-hole tools and other production equipment used in the application for down-hole operations.
  • Areas of specialization within Product Service Line (PSL) specific shop operations may include: mechanical, pressure testing, and machine tool rebuilding, surface equipment, and performing major repairs.
  • Serve as the lead in the assembly and disassembly of surface and down-hole tools.
  • Assist in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history.
  • Trains and assist tool technicians.
Qualifications
  • Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is reqiured.
  • 5 years of Completion Tool operations experience.
  • Experience in quality control, torgue machine and pressure testing preferred. 
  • Must have a current and valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record. 
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
  • Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
