Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Job will include cooking breakfast daily, setting up and serving breakfast, and kitchen prep work as directed by the Chefs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
  • Cook Breakfast
  • Set up and service
  • Make sure the Dining Hall is set and ready for service
  • Change out food pans as needed
  • Food Prep for the next day or lunch prep as directed by the Chefs
  • Clean and sanitize work station as you work

Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION:
It is required/preferred that the person in this position has a High School Diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
It is required/preferred that the person in this position have one year of cooking experience. Training will be provided.
SUPERVISION:
The person in this position will supervise the breakfast cashier.
The person in this position will report to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Assistant Director, and Director of Food Service.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The person in this position will work in a Kitchen Environment. Floors can be slick; slip-resistant shoes are required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
EQUIPMENT:
The person in this position will use the following equipment: Deep Fryers, Convection Ovens, Steamers, Tilt Skillets, Steam Kettles, Hot Box, Hot Wells, Knives, and slicer.
